Connect the brake controller harness to the electronic brake controller using barrel crimp connectors.

There will be four wires each separately labeled on the harness.
1 4 wire the first 4 pins white brown yellow green just like the 4 pin connector above.
The wires exiting the rear of your controller serve the following functions.
The first wire black runs to the vehicle s battery to supply power to the trailer connector.
The 5th pin a blue wire gives power to operate or disable the trailer brakes.
The red wire on the controller will attach to the lead from the brake light switch.
If you have never done wiring on a car before you might not want to attempt this install as your first wiring project.
So that would go to black the 12 volt power supply wire on the brake controller.

Blue vehicle wire to blue brake controller wire red 12 volt vehicle wire to black brake controller wire white vehicle wire to white brake controller wire.

The green is labeled stop lamp so that will go to the stop lamp circuit on your brake controller which in our case will be red.
